Samsung New Zealand accidentally published a marketing video of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 yesterday, revealing new features for the smartphone, which is due to be officially announced this week.

One of the first to notice the newly published YouTube video was SamMobile, known for their insider information on all things Samsung. The original video, which appears to be an official introduction clip for the Note 9, was taken down a few minutes later. But this was not before some quick actions from a few YouTubers who managed to download and repost the video, which you can watch below.

The promotional video highlights the Note’s new yellow stylus alongside a blue variant of the device, which also reveals a 512GB storage capacity. With the addition of a 512GB microSD card support, this potentially gives users up to 1TB in physical storage. The leak comes just a few hours on from another leak for a pre-order announcement, which revealed some detail of what the device would look like (as seen in the header image).

While there are leaks aplenty for the upcoming phablet, it’s worth pointing out that device specifications may not be the highlight of the upcoming launch, with Samsung expected to announce a few new features, apps and support for new technology. Samsung is set to officially announce the Galaxy Note 9 at a launch in Brooklyn on 9 August 2018, so we don’t have to wait all that long for the full list of features and release plans.
